Airport transfers in Serbia
Serbia is easy to explore by car, and private transfers are good value compared with western Europe. Most visitors fly into Belgrade, but Niš has many low-cost flights, and in winter thousands of skiers head to Kopaonik.
Main airports
Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG) is Serbia’s main airport, about 18 km west of Belgrade. Niš Constantine the Great Airport (INI) serves southern Serbia, and Kraljevo Morava Airport is the closest to Kopaonik.
Typical transfer prices in Serbia
A private car from Belgrade Airport to the city centre costs about €30–40. A transfer from Novi Sad to Belgrade Airport costs about 5,500–6,500 RSD (around €47–55) per car. A ski transfer from Belgrade to Kopaonik is about €225 for a car and €330 for a minivan, often including tolls and the national park fee.
Ski resorts and mountains
Kopaonik is Serbia’s largest ski resort, about 3.5 hours from Belgrade. Zlatibor is a popular mountain resort all year, about 3.5 hours south-west of Belgrade.
Cross-border transfers
Serbian companies drive to Budapest, Timișoara in Romania, Sofia in Bulgaria, Skopje, Sarajevo and Zagreb. Some Bulgarian companies also cover Belgrade. Check whether you can pay in euro or dinars and allow time for border queues.
Neighbouring countries
Serbian drivers also cover Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia. From Tuzla and Banja Luka, many travellers fly from Belgrade Airport.
