Official airport taxi fares in Spain

  • Madrid: a fixed fare of about €33 between Barajas and anywhere inside the M-30
  • Barcelona: a minimum fare of about €21 for trips starting at the airport
  • Seville: a fixed airport rate of about €26 or €29, depending on the tariff
  • Palma: a minimum airport fare of about €16.95

Taxi, private driver or shuttle?

Taxis run on official tariffs and wait at signed ranks in arrivals. Private transfer and VTC companies quote a fixed price per vehicle, so they get cheaper per person as your group grows. Airport buses are the cheapest choice, for example about €5 on the Madrid express bus. Whichever option you choose, check whether the price is per person or per vehicle before you book.
