Courchevel is part of the 3 Vallées ski area and is reached by road via Moûtiers, the main rail and bus hub for the valley. Most guests fly into Geneva or Lyon and take a private car or a shared shuttle up the valley. Public coaches are booked through Altibus, which covers over 80 Alpine resorts; the 2026/27 timetable is still pending.
From Lyon Airport, private cars start at about €320. Shared coach operators also run from Lyon and Grenoble in winter. Rail travellers can take the train to Moûtiers station and continue by road.
Allow 60–90 minutes extra on February Saturdays, the busiest days on the roads. Book shared seats early in peak weeks, as the best fares go first. Courchevel is close to Méribel and Val Thorens, so some shuttles combine drops. If you land in the French sector at Geneva, tell your driver, as they wait on the Swiss side by default.
Shared shuttles cost about €55–85 per person and private cars start at about €260.
About 2h30–3h, and longer on February Saturdays.
Yes, public coaches run with a change at Moûtiers, from about €47.
