Transfers in Spain
Spain has busy airports on the mainland, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands. Most arrivals can choose between an official taxi, an airport bus or train, or a private transfer booked ahead. This guide gives you the basics and links to each city and airport.

Official airport taxi fares in Spain
- Madrid: a fixed fare of about €33 between Barajas and anywhere inside the M-30

Taxi, private driver or shuttle?
Taxis run on official tariffs and wait at signed ranks in arrivals. Private transfer and VTC companies quote a fixed price per vehicle, so they get cheaper per person as your group grows. Airport buses are the cheapest choice, for example about €5 on the Madrid express bus. Whichever option you choose, check whether the price is per person or per vehicle before you book.
