Budapest Airport transfers

Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport is about 16 km south-east of the city centre. All passenger flights use Terminal 2, split into 2A and 2B and linked by the SkyCourt. The airport handled 19.6 million passengers in 2025.

Budapest Airport taxi prices

Főtaxi is the airport’s official taxi partner. Its stands are outside Terminals 2A and 2B: you order at the stand and take the car you are given. Airport trips carry a HUF 800 surcharge, and a ride to central Pest costs about HUF 14,000. Since 3 August 2026 other taxis use a car park about 1.1 km from the terminal, so check where your driver will meet you.
