Benidorm is a popular resort on the Costa Blanca. Most visitors fly into Alicante, and some into Valencia. You can take a bus or tram, or book a private car or minibus to your hotel.

Per-vehicle prices make private cars good value for families. One company says it adds no night or weekend supplement, which helps if you land late.

Getting around from Benidorm

TRAM line 1 links Benidorm with Alicante (Luceros). For Calpe, Altea and other towns nearby, private drivers quote fixed prices. Minibus firms also run golf and cycling groups, weddings and wine tours, and golf bags often travel free on standard trips. Book ahead in summer, mention child seats when booking, and say how many bags you have so the right size of car or minibus is sent. Private transfers run around the clock, which is handy for late or early flights.
