Brașov chauffeur, airport transfers & Bran Castle tours
Avram Iancu International Airport (CLJ) is the main airport in Transylvania and one of the busiest in Romania. It lies about 9 km east of central Cluj-Napoca, a 15–25 minute drive depending on traffic.
A pre-booked private car from the airport to the city centre starts from about €30. Some companies include up to 45 minutes of free waiting, flight tracking and a driver waiting in arrivals with your name. Taxis from the rank are cheaper but can be hard to find at peak times.
Cluj is a good starting point for touring Transylvania. Private transfers run to Sibiu (about 3 hours), Brașov, Târgu Mureș, Turda Salt Mine and the Apuseni Mountains. Many companies also drive across the border to Budapest (about 5 hours), Vienna and Chișinău.
Cluj is Romania’s main IT hub, and local transfer companies work with large tech firms. If you need an invoice, a regular driver for meetings or crew transport, choose a company that offers corporate accounts.
