Transfers in Lisbon
Lisbon is a hilly capital with narrow streets in its old districts. Transfer companies here cover the airport, the coast and palaces nearby, and long routes to Porto, the Algarve and even Spain. Most companies publish fixed prices per vehicle, so you know the cost before you travel. Drivers can meet you at the airport, your hotel or the cruise terminal.

Lisbon taxi fares
Lisbon taxis are black and green, and older cabs are cream. They are metered. Expect about €1.60 for luggage, about 20% more at night (21:00–06:00) and about 20% more for cars with more than four seats. Radio taxis add a small call fee. Uber also works in Lisbon, with fares similar to taxis. Tipping is not expected.
Wheelchair-accessible transfers
Several Lisbon firms run adapted vehicles with ramps for airport runs and day trips. Book these well ahead, as the fleet is small. Ask for a vehicle with enough boot space if you travel with prams, golf bags or wheelchairs, and share your hotel address in advance, as some streets in the old town are hard to reach by car.
