Poznań airport and city transfers
Poznań sits between Warsaw and Berlin, and its Ławica Airport is only about 7 km west of the centre. Taxis are cheap, buses are frequent and fast trains link the city with both capitals.
Poznań Ławica Airport to city centre
- Taxi: about PLN 30–35 to the centre, or about PLN 50 at night, with cars waiting outside the entrance
- Ride-hail apps: about PLN 20–40
- Bus 159: from Poznań Główny every 7–10 minutes, taking about 15–25 minutes
- Night bus 222: hourly, about 23 minutes
- A 35-minute ticket costs about PLN 6 and also covers the night bus
Poznań taxi prices
Poznań has no city fare cap, so each firm sets its own tariff. One taxi app charges PLN 5 to start plus PLN 2.90 per km in the city, and PLN 5 per km at night, on Saturdays and on holidays, and shows the price before you ride.
