Kraków Airport transfers
Kraków Airport (KRK) is at Balice, about 11 km west of the Main Market Square. The drive takes about 20 minutes in light traffic, and the train is just as quick.
Kraków Airport taxi prices
The official airport taxi charges flat fares by distance, for example PLN 89 for 8–11.9 km and PLN 109 for 12–14.9 km. Beyond 27 km the price is agreed, at no more than PLN 8 per km, and cards are accepted. Pre-booked private transfers to the city centre cost about PLN 110–130 per car, or from about €32, with flight tracking and a name sign.
Kraków Airport train and bus to the city
- The airport train reaches Kraków Główny in about 17 minutes, roughly every 30 minutes, for about PLN 20
- A standard city ticket is not valid on the train
- Buses 209 and 300 run by day and 902 at night; a single or 30-minute ticket costs about PLN 6 and a 60-minute ticket about PLN 8
Kraków Airport to Zakopane and day trips
- Zakopane: about 1 h 40, from about PLN 500 per car
- Wieliczka: 35–50 minutes, about PLN 180
- Oświęcim (Auschwitz): about 1 h 10
- Katowice Airport: about PLN 530
