North Macedonia is a small, landlocked country with two international airports. Prices are usually quoted in euro, though local taxis may use denars (MKD, about 61.5 to €1).
Skopje Airport to the city costs about €25–30, Skopje to Ohrid about €110–145 and Ohrid Airport to Ohrid about 1,200 MKD (€20). Matka Canyon is about €50 from Skopje.
Skopje is a good hub for the region. Fixed prices from Skopje include Pristina (Kosovo) €80–100, Thessaloniki and Sofia €150–200, Tirana €180–250 and Belgrade €250–360. From Ohrid, transfers to Tirana and Durrës in Albania cost about €90–120.
