Ireland airport transfers and taxis
Most visitors arrive at Dublin Airport, the country’s busiest by far. In the south and west, Shannon, Cork and Kerry airports are closer to Galway, Limerick and the Ring of Kerry, and some travellers also fly into Knock. Buses are a strong, cheap option from every main airport, while taxis and chauffeurs suit families, groups, golf trips and late arrivals.
Main Irish airports and city links

- Shannon Airport: about 25 km from Limerick and an hour from Galway

Dublin Port ferries and the Belfast link
Dublin Port handles ferries and cruise ships, about 2 km from the centre. For Belfast, the Enterprise train runs from Dublin Connolly in about 2 hours, and coaches leave from Dublin city and Dublin Airport.
