Transfers from Bordeaux Airport

Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport is about 12 km west of Bordeaux. Low-cost flights, including easyJet, use the separate Billi terminal. Taxis, VTC drivers, a shuttle and the tram all link it to the city. The tram has served the airport since April 2023, on a 5 km branch from Quatre-Chemins.

Bordeaux Airport to Bordeaux prices

  • Taxi to Bordeaux centre: about €35 by day and €45 at night
  • Fixed-price VTC: about €40 to the centre and €50 to Saint-Jean station
  • 30’Direct shuttle to Saint-Jean: about €9 online or €10 on board
  • Tram line A to Place Pey-Berland: about 35 minutes

Taxi fares are indicative, as the meter decides the final price. The shuttle runs non-stop in about 30 minutes, and under-5s travel free. The tram runs about every 10 minutes on weekdays and is the cheapest way into the city.
