Wheelchair taxi in Prague – CZK 25/km, lift van
Most visitors arrive at Václav Havel Airport Prague, about 20 km from the city centre. Brno and Ostrava have smaller airports, and many Brno travellers fly into Vienna instead. Trains and coaches are cheap and frequent, while private transfers suit families, groups and long cross-border trips.
Uber is now the airport’s official taxi partner, booked in the app, at a kiosk or at the service counter. Other taxis use Taxi Points at the car parks. Prague’s maximum taxi tariff is about CZK 60 to board, CZK 36 per km and CZK 7 per minute of waiting. On a budget, the Airport Express bus runs to the main station for about CZK 200, and trolleybus 59 links the airport with Metro A. See our Prague Airport guide.
Railjet trains reach Vienna in about 4 h 20 min. EuroCity trains run every two hours to Dresden and Berlin, and direct trains reach Munich in about 5 h 45 min.
The airport quotes around CZK 800 (about €32) for the roughly 20 km ride.
Uber Airport is now the airport's official taxi service, with pick-up in front of Terminals 1 and 2.
Railjet trains take about 4 hours 20 minutes.
