Glasgow taxis and airport transfers
Glasgow has a big black cab trade, plus chauffeur firms for airport runs, weddings and Scotland tours. The largest taxi firm has over 750 cabs and says every one is wheelchair accessible. Glasgow Airport is 8.6 miles west of the city centre, about 20 minutes by car.

Booking a Glasgow airport taxi
Pre-book online for a fixed price fare, and your flight is tracked. Pre-booked cabs often meet you at car park 2, Zone D, at the airport. Meet and greet in arrivals costs extra, from about £20 to £35 depending on the firm. There is no train to the terminal, so road is the only option. One firm takes £5 off if you book your return pickup with your outbound trip.
Glasgow to Edinburgh transfers
