Glasgow Airport transfers
Glasgow Airport (GLA) is 8.6 miles (13.8 km) west of Glasgow city centre. There is no rail link to the terminal, so you travel by bus, taxi or car. The drive takes about 20 minutes in normal traffic.

Glasgow Airport Express bus
The Glasgow Airport Express (service 500) runs 24 hours, up to every 10 minutes, from Stance 1 at the airport to Buchanan Bus Station in about 15 minutes. Fares have changed recently, so check the current price before you travel. Multi-day Freedom tickets include two airport trips.
Glasgow Airport drop-off charges
Express Pick Up and Drop Off outside the terminal costs £7 for up to 15 minutes, then £1 a minute, and £50 beyond 30 minutes. The Long Stay car park is free for up to an hour, with a free shuttle bus to the terminal. Flying into Edinburgh instead? One firm lists Edinburgh Airport to Glasgow at about £110 by saloon.
