Madrid Airport (MAD) transfers
Madrid Barajas Airport has terminals T1 to T4. You can take an official taxi, a city bus or a pre-booked private van to central Madrid.
Madrid Airport taxi fare
Taxis between Barajas and anywhere inside the M-30 ring road charge a fixed fare of about €33, 24 hours a day. There are no supplements, and luggage and up to 4 passengers are included. The fixed fare stayed the same for 2026. Outside the M-30 the meter runs, with a minimum of about €22 covering the first 9 km. A taxi to Sol takes about 25 to 40 minutes.
Madrid Airport bus
- Exprés Aeropuerto 203: flat €5, Atocha – Cibeles – T1/T2/T4, about 30 to 40 minutes
- Runs every 15 to 20 minutes by day and every 35 minutes at night from the airport
- Lines 200 to Avenida de América and 101 to Canillejas: about €1.50
Private transfers from Madrid Airport
Private vans charge per vehicle, so they work well for families. Published prices to central Madrid start at about €65 for 1 to 3 people and about €79 for up to 7. All terminals are covered, and some firms carry pets, bikes and skis. Waiting after the courtesy period costs about €40 per hour with one company.
