Lanzarote Airport is in San Bartolomé, about 5 km south-west of Arrecife. Terminal 1 handles international flights and Terminal 2 handles inter-island flights. Most resorts are a short drive away.

Private and shared transfers

Transfer firms offer private and shared rides. Puerto del Carmen is about 10 to 15 minutes away, Costa Teguise about 10 to 25 minutes and Playa Blanca about 30 to 40 minutes. One company lists shared seats to Costa Teguise from about €10 and a private car to Arrecife from about €39. Drivers wait for delayed flights until 10pm. Baby seats are free on private transfers with some firms, while bikes and surfboards can be added for a fee. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available on request. Prices on booking sites can vary, so confirm the final fare before you pay, and book ahead in the busy season.
