Ohrid Airport transfers
Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport (OHD) is about 10 km north of Ohrid. It mostly has seasonal and charter flights, so there is little public transport. A taxi or pre-booked transfer is the normal way to reach your hotel.

- OHD → Struga: about 15 minutes, metered or fixed price
- Ohrid → St. Naum monastery: about 1,500 MKD
- Ohrid → Skopje Airport: about 9,000 MKD or €110
- Ohrid → Tirana Airport: about 9,200 MKD
Booking a taxi
Local companies can be booked by phone, WhatsApp or app. Send your flight number in advance so the driver can wait if your flight is late, especially for late-night charter arrivals in summer. Prices in denars are common for local rides, while long transfers are often quoted in euro.
Flying into another airport?
If there are no flights to Ohrid on your dates, you can fly into Skopje (about three hours away) or Tirana (about 2.5–3 hours) and book a private transfer to the lake.
