St Julian’s is Malta’s main hotel and nightlife area, home to Paceville. It is a short drive from Malta Airport, on the coast north of Valletta. Several cab and chauffeur firms are based here, and some run 24 hours a day.
The airport taxi counter fare is about €20. Pre-booked cab firms list fixed fares of about €16–24 for up to four people. Vans for five to eight people cost a little more. Ride-hailing apps such as Bolt, eCabs and Uber also work here.
Two tallinja Direct routes serve St Julian’s from the airport:
Both cost €3, paid in cash or by contactless card. Night bus routes cost €3.
Buses are rare late at night, so a pre-booked cab helps after a Paceville night out or before an early flight. Ask for a fixed quote first. For day trips, the fast ferry to Gozo leaves from Valletta.

Routes TD2 and TD3 run every 30 minutes for €3.
