Naples to Positano €200 per car, fixed
Civitavecchia port to Rome from €220 per car
Ciampino (CIA) is Rome’s second airport. It is closer to the centre of Rome than Fiumicino, and official taxis charge a fixed fare to the city.
The cruise port at Civitavecchia is about 85 km from Ciampino, roughly 1 hour 20 minutes by car. Private transfer companies cover this route, and some add a small supplement for Ciampino compared with Fiumicino.
Fixed taxi fares are per car, not per person, so a taxi can be good value for a group. Private drivers usually meet you in arrivals with a name sign. Some companies charge more at night, roughly from 22:00, and on public holidays. Rome sets its own taxi fares and can change them without notice.
Larger groups can compare per-vehicle prices: one Rome company lists about €120 for 1–2 people and about €190 for 7–8 people from either airport to a Rome hotel, with about €30 extra at night.
The official fixed fare to central Rome is about €40 per ride.
It is about 85 km, roughly 1 hour 20 minutes by car.
