Pisa Airport to Lucca €135, to Florence €220
The Cinque Terre are five villages on the Ligurian coast, between Levanto and La Spezia. Most visitors arrive through Pisa Airport or Genoa Airport, then use the local train between the villages.
The Cinque Terre Treno MS Card gives unlimited second-class regional trains between Levanto and La Spezia, plus National Park services. Prices change by season, and tickets carry your name, so bring ID. Private drivers also run from Florence to Monterosso, at about €550, and from Malpensa Airport to Portofino, at about €550.
Buy the card on the Trenitalia website or app. With luggage, a private car to your village, or to Levanto or La Spezia, is often easier than changing trains. Ask your driver how close the car can get to your accommodation.
Private cars to Monterosso cost about €360–410.
It gives unlimited regional trains between Levanto and La Spezia plus National Park services.
Pisa and Genoa airports are the usual gateways for private transfers.
