Getting from Zakynthos Airport
Zakynthos Airport (ZTH) is only about 4 km from Zakynthos Town, and the popular resorts of Kalamaki and Laganas are just a few minutes away. Even the northern resorts like Tsilivi and Alykes are within about 30–40 minutes.

Tips
Laganas is the busiest resort at night, and Vasilikos and Gerakas in the south are quieter turtle-nesting beaches. Book your return airport transfer in advance for early-morning flights.
Taxi, bus or private transfer in Zakynthos?
Taxis wait outside the small terminal, but there are not many of them when several charter flights arrive together in summer. Local buses connect Zakynthos Town with the resorts, but not directly with the airport. Because distances on Zakynthos are short, a pre-booked transfer usually costs little more than a taxi and avoids the queue.
Which resort should I choose?
Laganas is lively with lots of bars, Kalamaki and Argassi are quieter but still close to the airport, and Tsilivi suits families in the north-east. Vasilikos and Keri in the south are the quietest, close to the protected turtle beaches.
