Stuttgart Airport to the city and Messe
Stuttgart Airport (STR) is about 13 km by road south of Stuttgart, in Leinfelden-Echterdingen. Messe Stuttgart moved next to the airport in 2007, so trade fair visitors can walk from the terminal.
Stuttgart Airport to Stuttgart taxi
A taxi to the Hauptbahnhof costs about €39–42 and takes 20–25 minutes. The airport runs a 24-hour taxi service line, and you can also pre-book for the next day. Pre-booked fixed fares from the region include Böblingen at about €70.

- S-Bahn S2 and S3 to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof: 27 minutes, every 10–20 minutes

- Stadtbahn U6: every 10 minutes by day, about 30 minutes to the centre
Stuttgart Airport and Messe
The shared station is called Flughafen/Messe. Its upper level links Terminal 1 with the exhibition grounds, so you rarely need a taxi between the two. For big fairs, pre-book cars early, as demand is high. A group day ticket is good value for teams of up to five.
