Cologne to Cologne Bonn Airport
A metered taxi between the centre and the airport costs about €38–43 and takes about 20 minutes. From the southern districts, one firm publishes fixed fares to the airport from about €55, such as Rodenkirchen. Wesseling costs about €75 and Brühl about €80. Trains from Köln Hbf take about 12–14 minutes, so they are fast and cheap if you travel light.
Long-distance airport transfers from Cologne
Fixed-price cars from south Cologne cost about €180–215 to Düsseldorf Airport and about €440 to Frankfurt Airport. A large vehicle usually costs a little more. For a cheaper option, regional trains link Düsseldorf Airport with Köln Hbf in about 40 minutes, and ICE trains run on the high-speed line to Frankfurt Airport. Book early for trade fair weeks, when cars are in short supply.
