Berlin taxis and transfers to BER
Berlin has a large, regulated taxi trade, and every taxi must take cards. For trips to the airport you can take the meter, agree a fixed price, or book a chauffeur.

- Waiting time costs about €39 per hour, but the first two minutes are free
- Short-trip fare: €6 for up to 2 km, only when you wave down a moving taxi, not at ranks or by app
- €6 extra for 5–8 passengers or bulky luggage; card payment, luggage, strollers and dogs cost nothing extra
