Rijeka Airport transfers
Rijeka Airport (RJK) is not in Rijeka at all: it is on Krk island, near Omišalj, about 30 km from Rijeka city across the Krk Bridge. It has seasonal flights from Germany, the UK and Scandinavia.

A private car from the airport to Krk town or to Rijeka city costs about €55, and to Opatija about €75. A long transfer from Krk to Zagreb costs about €250. Prices are per car, and drivers track your flight.
Krk island
Krk is connected to the mainland by a bridge, so you can drive straight from the airport to Malinska, Krk town, Punat, Baška and the Valbiska ferry port for Cres and Lošinj. The island has few buses, so a transfer is the easiest way to reach your apartment.
Opatija and the Kvarner coast
Opatija, Lovran and Crikvenica are popular resorts on the mainland coast. From Rijeka Airport they are 30–60 minutes away by car.
