Train, bus and local taxis

Take the train to Ötztal-Bahnhof at the valley entrance, about 50 km from Innsbruck Airport. From there, public buses run up the valley every 30 minutes. Inside the resort, one local taxi company charges about €12–21 by day and €15–23.50 at night, by zone, for up to 4 people. Nearby Obergurgl uses the same valley road and shuttles. On winter Saturdays the Ötztal road is busy with arriving skiers, so leave extra time for your return flight. Groups of up to 8 can share one vehicle.
