Paphos Airport bus 612 and 613 to Paphos town
Paphos district buses (OSYPA, branded Pafos Buses) run two routes from the airport, both via Timi and Geroskipou:
- Route 612 continues along Poseidonos Avenue, the seafront road through Kato Paphos lined with most of the big hotels, to the Tombs of the Kings bus station. Use it for Kato Paphos and the hotel strip. Departures from the airport, every day: 07:30, 08:50, 10:10, 11:20, 12:30, 13:50, 14:50, 15:40, 17:00, 17:40, 18:20, 19:40, 20:20, 21:20, 22:20, 23:40 and 01:00.
- Route 613 runs to Karavella station in the upper town (Ktima), via Kennedy Square. Departures from the airport, every day: 05:50, 08:00, 10:00, 11:30, 13:30, 16:30, 18:00, 19:00, 20:00, 22:00, 23:00 and 00:00.
Allow around 25–40 minutes to Kato Paphos or the town centre. Follow the bus signs from arrivals to the stop. Timetables can change between seasons, so check the live times on the Pafos Buses airport routes page before you travel.
Paphos Airport to Kato Paphos harbour
Route 612 does not stop at the harbour itself. Get off on Poseidonos Avenue and walk, or ride to the Tombs of the Kings station and change to route 611, which runs via the harbour to Geroskipou beach.
Paphos bus fares
A single ticket costs €2, bought from the driver. Pafos Buses lists the night single (after 21:00) at €3, although its ticket notes say evening fares can be up to €3.50. A day ticket costs €6.50 and is worth it if you will ride again the same day. Luggage travels free, but space is limited on busy summer evenings.
Paphos Airport to Coral Bay
Coral Bay, around 25 km north of the airport beyond Paphos, has no direct bus. Take route 612 to the Tombs of the Kings station and change to route 615 to Coral Bay; with two tickets it costs around €4 and takes 60–90 minutes including the wait. A taxi costs roughly €50–€65 and takes around 35–45 minutes outside peak traffic, which is why most families with luggage go by car. Local options include Coral Bay Taxis.
Paphos Airport to Limassol: Limassol Airport Express
The Limassol Airport Express runs between Paphos Airport and its station at Agios Georgios Havouzas in Limassol, which has free parking. Fares are €10 for adults and €5 for children aged 3–12. Unlike the Larnaca route, the Paphos timetable is thin and changes by weekday: the version valid from 1 July 2026 has five to seven departures a day from the airport, including some very early and late runs, so check your exact day on the Limassol Airport Express timetables. Allow around 45–75 minutes. See the Limassol Airport Express listing for contact details.
A taxi to Limassol costs roughly €90–€120. Operators are listed on our Limassol transfers page.
Paphos Airport to Nicosia and Larnaca: Kapnos shuttle
Kapnos Airport Shuttle runs from Paphos Airport to Nicosia and Larnaca, with around three departures a day at times that change through the week. The current fare is €18 per adult one way and €12 for students, and Kapnos says children up to 12 travel free on Paphos Airport routes. The trip to Nicosia takes around two hours or more. If you are flying out of Larnaca Airport, the same service links the two airports.
Paphos Airport taxi fares
Taxis wait outside arrivals around the clock. Urban taxis in Cyprus must use the meter, at the official tariff published by the tourism authority:
- Tariff 1 (06:01–20:30): €3.80 start, then €0.95 per km.
- Tariff 2 (20:31–06:00): €4.80 start, then €1.10 per km.
- €1.40 per piece of luggage; €2.00 extra on listed public holidays; 20% more for a fifth passenger and 40% for a sixth.
Typical airport fares are around €35–€45 to Kato Paphos or the town centre, €50–€65 to Coral Bay, €90–€120 to Polis or Latchi and €90–€120 to Limassol. Ask for an estimate before you leave, check the meter is running and ask for a receipt.
Bolt at Paphos Airport
Bolt operates in Paphos and lists rides to and from the airport, with the price shown in the app. Uber does not operate in Cyprus. Cars can be scarce late at night and away from town, so do not rely on the app for a 01:00 landing.
Pre-booked private transfers from Paphos Airport
For two people heading into Kato Paphos, the bus or the rank is usually enough. A pre-booked transfer makes more sense when:
- You are going to Coral Bay, Peyia, Polis, Latchi or Limassol, where a fixed price beats a long metered ride.
- You land after the last useful bus, or late in the evening with tired children.
- You are a group needing a minivan or minibus.
- You need child seats, or have golf bags or bikes.
- You want a driver waiting with a name sign who tracks your flight.
Compare operators on our Paphos Airport (PFO) transfers hub, or see companies in town on the Paphos transfers page. Local companies listed include Paphos Taxi Airport, Zenon Coaches and Amber Voyage Taxi. You book directly with the company, so confirm the price, vehicle size, child seats and waiting time in writing.
Getting from Paphos Airport to Polis, Latchi and beyond
Polis and Latchi
Polis Chrysochous and the harbour at Latchi, gateway to the Akamas peninsula, are about an hour’s drive north. By bus, take route 613 to Karavella and change to route 645 to Polis; with waiting this can take several hours, so most visitors take a taxi (around €90–€120) or a pre-booked transfer.
Aphrodite Hills and Pissouri
The golf and villa resorts east of the airport are not served by convenient buses. Aphrodite Hills is around 20–30 minutes by car, roughly €45–€60 by taxi.
The rest of Cyprus
Nicosia is about two hours away and Larnaca about 1½ hours. Browse all regions on our Cyprus transfers page.
Paphos Airport with kids or lots of luggage
Paphos buses are ordinary low-floor city buses rather than coaches, so there is no separate luggage hold. Cases go in the aisle or the small luggage area by the door, which works off-peak but is awkward on busy summer evenings when 612 also carries hotel staff and beachgoers. Ask the driver about child and student fares.
For a family with two or three large cases, a taxi or pre-booked car is usually the better choice: the meter charges €1.40 per bag, but you go straight to the hotel door instead of walking from Poseidonos Avenue or changing at the Tombs of the Kings station. If you need a car seat, book a transfer and confirm the seat type in writing, because a taxi from the rank may not have one. Groups of five or six pay 20–40% extra in a standard taxi, which is when a minivan transfer often works out cheaper per person.
Tips for arriving at Paphos Airport
- Night arrivals: the last buses leave at 00:00 (613) and 01:00 (612), at the higher night fare. After that, take a taxi on the night tariff or book a transfer.
- Use the official rank: take taxis from the rank outside arrivals or a car you have booked, and ignore offers of rides inside the terminal.
- Insist on the meter: urban taxis must use it. For long trips, agree on an estimate before leaving.
- Paying: carry euro coins and small notes for the bus driver. Many taxis take cards, but ask before you get in.
- Tipping: not expected. Rounding up or a couple of euros for help with bags is usual.
- Summer traffic: Poseidonos Avenue and the Coral Bay road get busy on summer evenings; allow extra time.
- Hiring a car: Cyprus drives on the left. A car makes sense if you are staying in the Akamas villages or around Polis.
