Antalya Airport to City, Belek, Side & Alanya: 2026 Transfer Guide

Updated · 8 min read

How to get from Antalya Airport to the city centre, Lara, Belek, Side, Alanya and Kemer in 2026: AntRay tram, buses 600, 800 and 400, metered taxi prices, Uber Taxi and pre-booked private transfers.

To get from Antalya Airport to the city centre, the cheapest option is the AntRay tram from the airport stop by Terminal 1, at 42 TL (about €0.75) with an Antalyakart or 50 TL (about €0.90) by contactless bank card, taking around 30–40 minutes to Kaleiçi. A metered taxi to the centre takes about 20–25 minutes and costs roughly 700–1,000 TL (€13–€18), while most visitors heading to Belek, Side, Alanya or Kemer use a pre-booked transfer or their tour operator’s coach. To compare drivers who meet you at arrivals, see our Antalya Airport transfers page.

Antalya Airport terminals: where you will arrive

Antalya Airport (AYT) has three passenger buildings: Terminal 1 (international), Terminal 2 (international) and the Domestic Terminal. Terminal 1 and the Domestic Terminal are connected and you can walk between them. Terminal 2 is about 2.5 km away – around five minutes by car – and the airport says a public bus or taxi links the two. This matters because the tram stop is beside Terminal 1, not Terminal 2. Many charter and holiday flights use Terminal 2, so check your arrival terminal before deciding on public transport.

Antalya Airport tram to the city centre (AntRay)

The AntRay light rail line between Fatih and Havalimanı (Airport) is the cheapest way from Antalya Airport to the city centre. The airport stop is near Terminal 1 and the Domestic Terminal. From the airport, board in the direction of Fatih; the tram runs through the eastern districts to Meydan and then along the central corridor. For Kaleiçi, the old town, get off at İsmetpaşa, a short walk from Hadrian’s Gate. For the main bus station (Otogar), stay on to the Otogar stop.

Expect the ride to Kaleiçi to take around 30–40 minutes. Trams run roughly every 15–20 minutes from early morning until around midnight, but times vary by season, so check the Antalyakart app or call the transport information line on 0242 606 07 07 before you rely on a late tram.

Tram and bus tickets: Antalyakart or contactless card

There are no paper single tickets sold on board. Your options, per the official Antalyakart FAQ:

  • Contactless bank card – tap a Visa or Mastercard with the contactless symbol on the reader. Each ride costs 50 TL and there are no free transfers. This is the simplest choice for most visitors.
  • Antalyakart – the personal plastic card costs 100 TL and a full fare is 42 TL, with one free transfer within an hour. Cards are sold at card centres and sales machines.
  • Kullan At ticket – a disposable 2- or 5-ride card at 46 TL per ride, sold at machines and dealers. No transfers.

The tram suits light travellers. With large suitcases at peak commuter times it can be crowded, and if you land at Terminal 2 you first need a bus or taxi to Terminal 1.

Antalya Airport bus: lines 600, 800 and 400

Antalya’s municipal buses (Antobüs) serve both international terminals and the Domestic Terminal. The airport describes them as running to the intercity bus station (Otogar) and the city centre, with times in the Antalyakart app. The main lines are:

  • 600 – airport to Antalya Otogar, around 60 minutes. Useful if you are catching an intercity coach to Side, Alanya or further afield. Some late-night departures are reported.
  • 800 – airport to Lara and Meydan, around 55 minutes. Handy for Lara hotels, and also links Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
  • 400 – airport to Konyaaltı, around 75 minutes, for the western beach district.

Buses run roughly hourly or less often, so they are best when the timetable lines up with your arrival. Payment works the same way as on the tram: Antalyakart, Kullan At or contactless bank card. Fares on airport lines have been quoted at around 42–70 TL, so check the reader or the app.

Antalya Airport taxi price

Yellow taxis wait outside arrivals at each terminal and run on the meter. Antalya’s council raised the city taxi tariff in 2026 to a 50 TL start and 50 TL per kilometre, with a 200 TL short-distance fare, although some published airport estimates use higher rates of around 60 TL plus 70 TL per km. Based on those rates and road distances, rough fares from the airport are:

  • Kaleiçi / city centre (about 13 km): around 700–1,000 TL (€13–€18)
  • Lara beach hotels (about 10–18 km): around 550–1,300 TL (€10–€24)
  • Konyaaltı (about 20 km): around 1,050–1,450 TL (€19–€26)
  • Belek (about 35 km): around 1,800–2,600 TL (€33–€47)
  • Side (about 65 km): around 3,300–4,600 TL (€60–€84)
  • Kemer (about 55–60 km): around 2,800–4,300 TL (€51–€78)
  • Alanya (about 125 km): around 6,300–8,800 TL (€115–€160)

These are estimates, not fixed prices. Make sure the meter is switched on when you set off, and for long trips to Side, Alanya or Kemer agree the price before loading the bags. Many travellers find a pre-booked transfer cheaper than the meter for the longer resort runs.

Uber and taxi apps at Antalya Airport

Uber works at Antalya Airport, but in Turkey it mainly books licensed yellow taxis (Uber Taxi) rather than private cars, so the price is close to the meter fare. You choose your terminal in the app and follow the directions to the pickup point, which may not be the nearest exit. The advantage is a tracked trip and a record of the driver; the disadvantage is waiting for a driver to accept at busy times. There is no app-based option that is meaningfully cheaper than a taxi.

Pre-booked private transfers from Antalya Airport

Most holidaymakers at Antalya are not staying in the city but in resort hotels 30 minutes to two hours away. That is where a pre-booked private transfer makes most sense: a driver meets you in arrivals with a name sign, tracks your flight if it is late, and takes you straight to your hotel at a price agreed in advance, usually per vehicle and often quoted in euros. It is worth considering when:

  • you are going to Belek, Side, Alanya or Kemer, where taxi meters add up quickly;
  • you land late at night or very early, when trams and buses have stopped;
  • you are a family needing child seats, or a group that needs a minivan for six to eight people and golf bags;
  • you want to skip the tour operator coach that stops at several hotels.

Antalya Airport to Belek, Side, Alanya and Kemer

Antalya Airport to Belek

Belek is the closest resort area, about 35 km east along the coast road, and usually 35–45 minutes by car. There is no direct public bus to the hotel strip, so a taxi (roughly 1,800–2,600 TL) or a pre-booked transfer is the practical choice. See Belek transfers.

Antalya Airport to Side

Side is about 65 km from the airport, around an hour by road. The budget route is bus 600 to the Otogar and then an intercity coach towards Manavgat and Side, but that can take two to three hours in total. Most visitors use a transfer – see Side transfers.

Antalya Airport to Alanya

Alanya is about 125 km east, roughly 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours by car. Intercity coaches leave from Antalya Otogar; the municipal tariff lists Antalya–Alanya at 410 TL. If your flight allows, Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport is much closer to Alanya – see Gazipaşa Airport transfers – otherwise compare Alanya transfers from Antalya.

Antalya Airport to Kemer

Kemer lies about 55–60 km south-west, around an hour by car, with the road passing through the city first. Minibuses to Kemer leave from the Kemer stop west of the city centre, and the municipal tariff lists Antalya–Kemer at 170 TL, but reaching that stop from the airport takes another tram or bus. A transfer avoids the change – see Kemer transfers.

Tips for arriving at Antalya Airport

  • Check your terminal first. The tram stop is next to Terminal 1. From Terminal 2, take bus 800 or a taxi to Terminal 1, or go straight by taxi or transfer.
  • Night arrivals. Trams stop around midnight and most buses earlier. After that, use a taxi, Uber Taxi or a transfer booked in advance with your flight number.
  • Use the official taxi rank. Ignore drivers who approach you inside the terminal offering rides. Licensed taxis are yellow, have a roof sign and a meter.
  • Payment. Contactless bank cards work on trams and buses. Many taxis accept cards, but carry some lira in case the card reader is unavailable. Transfer companies often accept euros.
  • Tipping. Not expected in taxis; rounding up is common. For a driver who helps with heavy luggage, a small tip is appreciated.
  • Peak traffic. In July and August, and on Saturday changeover days, roads to Belek and Side get busy and airport queues are long. Allow extra time on the return trip.
