Belfast International Airport transfers
Belfast International Airport is at Aldergrove, Co. Antrim, about 21 km (13 miles) north-west of Belfast. It handled 6.73 million passengers in 2024. The drive to the city centre takes about 30 minutes via the M2. Belfast also has George Best Belfast City Airport, just 3 miles from the centre.
Belfast International Airport bus to the city
Airport Express 300 runs to Belfast Grand Central in 30–40 minutes. A single costs about £9.50 and a one-month return about £13.50. At weekday peaks, buses run every 15 minutes. The 300 also stops at Templepatrick, about £5.90 from the airport, and the Airporter links the airport with Derry.
Belfast International Airport taxi
Taxis run on the meter under Northern Ireland’s maximum fares, plus an airport pick-up charge from about £3. Pre-booked drivers meet you at the arrivals information desk or at the pick-up point beside the short-stay car park, and dispatch watches your flight, so pick-up times move if you land early or late. Class C and D taxis are outside the cap, so agree the fare first. Chauffeur firms also offer executive cars and cross-border runs to Dublin Airport.
