Transfers to Lake Bohinj
Lake Bohinj is the largest lake in Slovenia, inside Triglav National Park and about 25 km beyond Bled. It is quieter than Bled and popular with hikers, swimmers and skiers on Vogel.

- Ljubljana Airport → Bohinj: about €70, around an hour
- Bled → Bohinj: about 30 minutes; local taxi fares
- Bohinj → Vogel cable car, Ukanc and Savica waterfall: short local rides
Hikers and the Juliana Trail
Local taxis carry luggage for walkers on the Juliana Trail, so you can hike with a day pack while your bags go ahead to the next stop. Bike racks can also be fitted.
Tips
Some Bohinj taxis run only during the day and on Sundays by arrangement, so book early or late rides in advance. Holders of the Julian Alps Card may get discounts with local operators.
Transfers between Bohinj and Bled are also popular for day visitors, and some Bled companies include Bohinj in half-day tours with a driver.
