Transfers to Zlatibor
Zlatibor is a mountain plateau in western Serbia, about 230 km south-west of Belgrade. It is a year-round resort: skiing at Tornik in winter, and hiking, fresh air and spa hotels in summer. Nearby are Tara National Park, the Šargan Eight railway and Mokra Gora.
From Belgrade Airport to Zlatibor
Most visitors fly into Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG). The drive takes about 3–3.5 hours, much of it on the Miloš the Great motorway. Buses run from Belgrade’s main bus station, but a private transfer goes door to door from the airport to your hotel and is better with luggage, children or ski equipment.
Transfer prices
A private car from Belgrade to Zlatibor usually costs around €180–230, and a minivan for up to 8 people more. Ask for a fixed price that includes tolls. Belgrade transfer companies such as those listed on the Belgrade page drive to Zlatibor and Tara on request.
Combining with other trips
Zlatibor is close to the Bosnian border and about 3 hours from Sarajevo. Some travellers combine Zlatibor with Kopaonik or with a visit to Niš. Companies from Niš also run group transfers to Zlatibor.
Booking tips
In winter ask for winter tyres. In summer and on holidays book early, as Zlatibor gets busy with Serbian families.
