Transfers to Kopaonik
Kopaonik is Serbia’s biggest ski resort, with about 60 km of pistes at up to 2,017 m. It is inside a national park, and the season usually runs from late November to April. Getting there by public transport is slow, so most visitors book a private transfer.
Which airport for Kopaonik?
- Kraljevo Morava Airport – closest, about 2 hours, but few flights
- Niš Airport (INI) – about 2–2.5 hours, many low-cost flights
- Belgrade Airport (BEG) – about 275 km, 3.5–4 hours, most flights
Kopaonik transfer prices
From Belgrade a private car for up to 3 people costs around €225, a minivan for up to 8 about €330 and a luxury SUV about €580. Prices from Niš are lower. Many companies charge per car, not per person, and include motorway tolls and the national park entry fee.
Winter driving and 4×4
The last part of the road climbs into the mountains and can be snowy. Ask for winter tyres and, in heavy snow, a 4×4 car. Some companies require a deposit for departures from Kopaonik.
Helicopter transfers
If you are short on time, a helicopter transfer from Belgrade takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. It is offered by local agencies for 2–3 people.
