Transfers in Podgorica
Podgorica is Montenegro’s capital and its business centre. Several of the country’s biggest licensed transfer companies are based here, serving both airports, the coast, the mountains and neighbouring countries.
Airport transfers
Podgorica Airport is only about 15 minutes from the city. Podgorica companies also cover Tivat Airport and Dubrovnik Airport for clients staying on the coast.
Chauffeur and business travel
Licensed limousine services offer business cars such as Mercedes E-Class and Audi A6, hourly hire and corporate accounts. This is useful for embassies, government visitors and conferences in the capital.
Mountains and national parks
From Podgorica, private transfers go to Kolašin (about 1.5 hours) and Žabljak and Durmitor National Park (about 2.5 hours). Popular day trips are Ostrog Monastery, Skadar Lake and the Morača canyon.
Cross-border transfers
Podgorica is close to Albania, and private transfers to Tirana take about 3 hours. Companies also drive to Dubrovnik, Sarajevo, Priština and Belgrade. Some have offices in both Podgorica and Belgrade.
Groups
Minivans, 16–19 seat minibuses and buses with 30–50 seats are available for groups, weddings and tours.
Podgorica is about an hour from the Albanian border. Transfers to Shkodër cost about €90.
