Transfers to Sorrento
Sorrento sits on a peninsula south of Naples. Most visitors arrive at Naples Airport or the Naples port and transfer by shuttle bus, taxi or private car.

Sorrento shuttle bus
The airport shuttle has eight daily departures from the airport between 09:00 and 19:30. It stops at Pompeii on request, plus Castellammare, Vico Equense, Meta, Piano di Sorrento and Sant’Agnello. It does not run on 1 January or 25 December. Under-3s on a lap travel free.
Naples port to Sorrento
From the Naples cruise port, Sorrento is about 52 km, around 70 minutes by road. Pompeii is about 26 km on the way. From Sorrento, private drivers also go on to Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Most private prices are fixed and all-inclusive.
The same shuttle costs about €20 per person to Positano. The taxi from Naples Airport to Sorrento is a fixed fare, so the price does not change with traffic.
