Getting from Kos Airport
Kos Airport (KGS) is near Antimachia, in the middle of the island. Kos Town is about 25 km away to the north-east, while Kardamena and Mastichari are much closer. Buses run in summer, but a taxi or pre-booked transfer is faster with luggage.

Kos Town port has ferries to Bodrum and nearby islands, and Mastichari and Kardamena have boats to Kalymnos and Nisyros. Kos4all meets ferries and cruise ships at all three ports.
Taxi, bus or private transfer in Kos?
Taxis wait outside the airport, but there are often not enough cars when several flights land at once in high season. KTEL buses connect the airport with Kos Town and some resorts, mainly during the day. A pre-booked transfer is worth it for families with luggage and for late-night or very early flights, when buses are not running and the driver can still meet you inside arrivals.
Which resort is closest to Kos Airport?
Kardamena, Mastichari and Antimachia are the closest to the airport, just 10–15 minutes away. Tigaki and Marmari on the north coast take around 20–25 minutes, and Kos Town and Psalidi about 30–35 minutes.
