Protaras taxis and airport transfers
Protaras and Pernera sit about 60–65 km from Larnaca Airport, roughly an hour by car. Local firms run airport taxis, beach trips and minibuses for groups, and several work 24 hours a day. If you travel with children or a big group, ask for larger cars or child seats when you book, and do it early in summer.
Larnaca Airport to Protaras taxi prices
Indicative fares are about €60–80 per car. Pre-booked fixed prices start at about €60–75 for up to four people, and a metered day fare runs to about €90. The official meter guide gives a lower €51 by day and €60 at night, so always agree the price first. Minibuses for 8 to 16 people cost about €140–170.
Protaras airport shuttle
The Kapnos Airport Shuttle runs to Protaras and Pernera from about €11–15 per adult, or about €5 for a child. The trip takes about an hour. Stops are on Protaras Avenue and Pernera Avenue. There is no service between about midnight and 5am.
