Sarajevo Airport transfers
Sarajevo International Airport (SJJ) is in Butmir, about 12 km south-west of the old town of Baščaršija. The drive to the centre takes 20–25 minutes outside rush hour. There is an airport bus, but a private transfer is easier with luggage, at night or when you are heading straight to the mountains.

Choosing a company
The companies below range from a single executive Audi with a driver who speaks Turkish and German to operators with vans and 60-seat buses. Some offer free child seats and flight tracking, and one lets you book without a credit card. Shared door-to-door shuttles are also available if you travel alone.
Onward to the coast
From Sarajevo, popular private routes go via Mostar to Dubrovnik, Split and Kotor, often with a two-hour stop at the Old Bridge. Expect about €280–320 per car. Transfers to Belgrade Airport and Zagreb Airport are also common.
