Mostar Airport transfers
Mostar International Airport (OMO) is about 7 km south of Mostar, near Ortiješ. It has mostly seasonal and charter flights, including pilgrim charters for Medjugorje, and there is no regular airport bus, so a taxi or pre-booked transfer is the practical choice.
Mostar Airport transfer prices
- OMO → Mostar old town: from about €25
- OMO → Medjugorje: about 30 minutes, price on request
- Mostar → Sarajevo: about €160
- Mostar → Dubrovnik or Split: about €210–220
Tips
Because flights are few, many visitors to Mostar fly into Split, Dubrovnik or Sarajevo instead and book a longer transfer. If you do land at Mostar Airport, give your flight number in advance so a driver is waiting in arrivals, especially for late charter flights. Local drivers can also add stops at Blagaj, Počitelj and the Kravice waterfalls on longer trips.
Which airport for Mostar?
Split and Dubrovnik airports in Croatia have many more flights and are each about two and a half to three hours from Mostar by road. Sarajevo Airport is about two and a half hours away. All three are good choices if there is no direct flight to Mostar on your travel dates, and Mostar drivers know these routes well.
