Prestia e Comandè is the Palermo family bus company that has run the Palermo Airport shuttle since founders Saverio Prestia and Francesco Comandè started in 1946. It is the classic budget way into town.
Palermo Airport bus to the city centre
- Departures about every 30 minutes, all year, holidays included
- Journey to Stazione Centrale: about 50 minutes
- Stops on Via Libertà, at Politeama (Piazza Ruggero Settimo), Via Roma and the Central Station bus terminal
Buy tickets online, in the app, at the airport kiosk (07:30–23:00), at the station terminal or on board. Tickets are valid on any bus that day, subject to seats.
Mondello airport shuttle
In summer (15 June to 31 October) a direct line links the airport with the beach suburb of Mondello.
Coach hire with driver
The company also rents air-conditioned coaches with drivers for group transfers, excursions and Sicily tours. Ask for a quote by email or phone. Regular riders on the airport line can collect loyalty points on online and app tickets and swap them for free rides.
