About Balkan Transfer
Balkan Transfer has been running door-to-door airport transfers since 2017. Its specialty is shared transfers: you buy a seat in a van that drops each passenger at their own address, which is much cheaper than a private car for solo travellers.
Airports covered
The company links flights at Sarajevo (SJJ), Tuzla (TZL), Banja Luka (BNX) and Split (SPU) airports with more than 100 cities across the Balkans. Tuzla is a Wizz Air base with many low-cost flights, and a shared shuttle is often the easiest way to get from there to Sarajevo or other towns.
Shared or private
Departures are timed to the flights and guaranteed. If you prefer, you can book a private van for your group instead. The company says it is an official partner of Wizz Air and Ryanair.
Booking and fleet
You book and pay online by Mastercard, Visa or Amex, and a support centre is available 24/7. Vans are on average less than three years old. Balkan Transfer also supports local charities, donating 20,000 KM a year to Pomozi.ba.
